how to mapping into existing product familiy from existing product? RRS feed

    Hi All,

    I trying to mapping my existing product into existing product family, on the form the field product family is disabled. Is the OOB of MS CRM 2015 you can only add new product?

    If you want to create a child product to an existing product family, select the family in the list, and then choose Add Product. The selected family becomes the parent family of the new product you're creating.

    since You can't change the parent of a product after the product is created I guess you will not update existing product from the form but may thought API you might able to do this.

    yes, It can only for new product not existing product. it must be carefully when on creating new product now :)
