Hi all,
We're trying to package the Outlook client (2011) for centralized deployment across an corporate network. The Outlook client by default attempts to download any prerequisites as part of the installation process, however this is not allowed by our corporate
policy.
Is there anyway to install the Outlook client without the automated attempt to download prerequisites?
A couple of ideas we've had:
- Pre-install all the prerequisite components. Will this prevent the client install from attempting to download things?
- Use the command line to build a stand-alone installation package for the Outlook client.
Any advice?
Cheers.
