My Zune fails to load!

  I have been using my Zune for about a year without any problem. As I tried to open Zune today to listen to music, I was unable to do so despite repeated attempts. All that happens when I try to load is I get a message that says it has encountered a problem and needs to close and prompts me to send an error message to Microsoft which I have done. What is the problem here and how can it be resolved? I have not made any changes to my system or it's settings. I have not installed any software either.
