Stored username and passwords

MY desktop does not save user name and passwords for network computers. when i try to connect the network computer after every restart of computer, it keep asking user name and passwords. Even though I click on remember password the same. I have two more win xp computers but there is no issue with these computers, they works well with network computer.
My desktop: windows xp pro sp2
Network computer: windows 2000 sp4
Please help me....

Try this one
start run
type "control keymgr.dll " in the box (without the quotes)This will bring up a popup box to remove stored passwords. I had this same issue with constant reminders for passwords. Your system is holding onto cached passwords. This cleared it for me.

Thanks for your replay. But, You did not get my problem, usually all network passwords saved in said popup box, but in my case after i restart my computer I can not see saved user names and passwords in the popup. I want save logon information till I delete manually. please let me know if you find solution.
