Visual studio online + CRM 2013 SDK

Hi!

I have been assigned to find out which version of Visual studio my company should use - the only purpose is to create workflows for Dynamics CRM 2013.

My question is: Can I use CRMSDK-package with Visual studio 2013 Online? And does Visual studio online professional have the workflow template? The free version did not have CRM Workflow template.

I'd recommend using a local copy of VS 2012 Professional or higher. In the SDK download you can install the Developer Toolkit and it provides some tooling/templates for creating custom workflow activities and plugins. The toolkit does't work with the Express version or Online.
