Office 2000 fails to validate RRS feed

  • Question

  • Our Office 2000 will not validate.  The computer originally had Windows ME and Office 200.  We upgraded to Windows XP, but not to a later version of Office (I don't see the need to).  The Windows XP validated, but Office fails to validate.  The reason given is that the Office version is too old (earlier than XP).  This is preventing me from downloading templates.  I've read the various messages in the forum, but nothing suggested seems to help.  Could you please tell me how to validate Office or provide a workaround?  Here is the diagnostic data.  Thanks for any help.
