  • Question

  • So this was reported back in 2012, and is still happening. Will it ever be fixed? Why not just remove the option so that we don't have false hope that we will get alerted?

  • I have not had issues with this in a very long time. In the last couple of years when there are issues it usually affects all users (service down, etc.) You might try Quick Access\My Settings\Configure Alerts uncheck the box, save, go back in and reconfigure Alerts

  • Thanks for the reply Dave. You have solved my problem... (which was in fact mostly a user problem on my behalf)

I had never even noticed the 'quick access' menu. I had looked at the settings under my profile and that had the right email address for me, but under quick access -> settings it had my old email address!

Why would there be 2 places for settings, and why would these settings be hidden there? I suspect the poor location of this settings option might be what is at the root of this problem being reported so many times...

  • I'm not sure where else you were looking, but glad to hear the problem is sorted.
