    Hi

    In our company we use a mix of windows server 2003/2008. I want to get certified and am new to certifications, so I am confused whether to go for the mcse (7 exams) or go for the latest mcitp certifications. I am new to windows servers so want to know which path should i follow so that i can learn everything from basics and not miss anything.

    Rephrase your question this way:

    Do I want to certify myself in a technology that is almost a decade old (2003) or in one that is current (2008 R2)?

    I can understand that your company has 2003 servers, but it is apparently already moving towards 2008, why certify in something your company is moving away from?

    Hi Nikul,

     

    As Rich Prescott said, why you want to go for a certification related to windows server 2003? MCSE certification is not available for windows server 2008, so it would be better if you go for MCITP Certification.
