Problem in using HVT tool RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

We already had two sora boxes, and now we get a new one. The old two sora boxes are OK. When I make sine wave test between the new one and one of the old boxes using HVT tool, no signal is received in the receiver side, no matter which one is set as the receiver.

I find there is no value displayed below the "frequency offset (Hz)", and I remember when I make the same test between the two old boxes, the frequency offset can be calculated and displayed.

I also try to click the "calibration" button, and get the following log information:

    Start calibration...
    Incorrect signal detected. Calibration stopped.

Is there something wrong with the new sora box? Would someone give me some suggestions to fix the problem?

    Thanks very much!

  • I consider there is no signal in the receiver because the "overview" window displays a line (not so straight), and the constellation is not a circle but in a mess.

BTW, I select "AGC" at the receiver.

  • DC values are about I=1850 and Q=900.

  • The DC amplitude is larger than expected. Try reset the RCB and radio board, or restart the PC.
