Minimum Requirements for Certifications

Hi All,

I am planning to take exams 70-400 for SCOM 2007 Certification (MCTS: System Center Operation Manager 2007 configuration) & 70-401 SCCM certification.

Is it true that I should be MCSE certified in order to go for this certification? as I heard from few people.

Someone please clarify on this as I am planning to go for these (70-400 & 70-401 ) certifications but I am not MCSE certified at the moment.

If you check the MS Learning site, it notes that 70-400 (http://www.microsoft.com/learning/en/us/exam.aspx?ID=70-400) and 70-401 (http://www.microsoft.com/Learning/en/us/Exam.aspx?ID=70-401) counts as credit TOWARD the MCSA/MCSE as an elective.

You don't have to have the MCSA/MCSE to take these exams, but...you'd better know your way around Server 2003. The "Audience Profile" should give you an idea of what you should know.
