IFD Configuration in CRM 2011 RRS feed

  • I went through the IFD Configuration in our development server for CRM 2011 using the following link


    I create the certificate using IIS and did not use external certificate provider.

    When I try to open the site from the server, I get the log on screen and when I type my credentials, I get the message

    "There was a problem accessing the site. Try to browse to the site again.
    If the problem persists, contact the administrator of this site and provide the reference number to identify the problem.
    Reference number: 9fc9a71b-3e17-4db6-8385-627d54e92a19 "

    What is the web address you use to access the CRM ?

    Does the web address contain "https" ?

  • I have seen this error when the login credentials are incorrect. Try using the UPN user@domain.com as the user instead of domain\user - and make sure your CRM users are formatted the same way for their domain name. We have some very complex environments and multiple domains and this was what works best for us.
