Was wondering if there is any possible way to have a Ubuntu machine connect to WHS so I can see my shares?Wednesday, April 8, 2009 6:47 PM

Yes. The open source equivalent to SMB is Samba, which I would assume you've heard of.
As for how to configure your ubuntu installation to access an SMB share, try this , which was the top result on a Google search for "ubuntu SMB".
I'm not on the WHS team, I just post a lot. :)- Marked as answer by gkdave Thursday, April 9, 2009 12:56 AM

Windows Home Server (Windows in general) uses SMB for file shares. So just connect that way.
