Export Frequent Flyer Transactions RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi

    Is there a way to export Frequent Flyer transactions?  I cannot export or export to excel directly from the register and I cannot get the transactions into a report.

    I am using UK Money.

    Any ideas?

    Thank you for any help

  • Reports->ChangeReportSettings->SwitchFromEssentialToAdvancedReports

    Under Assets and Liablities, click Frequent Flyer Miles.

    Right-click into the report and choose Copy.

    Paste into Excel.

    Hi, unless I am mistaken this is only giving the summary level data whereas ideally I'd like the actual transactions.

    Thank you for your help

  • If you describe how to enter flights, and how to view the data that you would like to export, I will try to see if I can figure out how to get that to Excel.

  • Hi

    The frequent flyer account is associated to my credit card.  It is not actually flights but points earned against my monthly spend, I have been using the frequent flyer account register to manually record the earnings and spending as a simple way of keeping track.  Typically there is one earning transaction a month to add the points and one spending transaction every 6 or 9 months when I earned enough to spend.

    Getting the transactions into excel is a nice to have and to be honest there is only a couple of screens full so I could probably just screen print them and re-type them or even easier I might just start my spread sheet from 2013 and go forward from there as there is not a tremendous amount to be gained from having the history and it is in my Money file if I ever need to refer to it.

    If there is a simple solution then great but if not please do not spend loads of time on this as I'm sure you have more worthy challenges to solve :-)

    Thank you for your help
