Certification upgrade problem

Question
-
So I took my A+, Network+, 70-290 and 70-291 back in 2007 and got my MCSA. At that time, I merged all those into my MCP IF. Until recently, I had no intention upgrading. Now I want to and ran into a problem. I logged into the MCP site and only see my MCP cert. I have all my cards except the 70-291. Is there any way to retrieve it and if so how do I upgrade to windows server 2012?Wednesday, October 24, 2012 4:05 AM

You will need to contact your local Microsoft Regional Service Centre and ask them to look into the missing certification. More than likely it's still attached to your old MCP ID. http://www.microsoft.com/learning/en/us/help/assisted-support.aspx
Information on how to upgrade can be found at http://www.microsoft.com/learning/en/us/certification/cert-windowsserver.aspx#FAQ3

I can already tell you that is the first thing I checked. All I see under my 70-270 is that cert only. I took 70-290 and 70-291. I somehow lost those cards. Either way, I will try to figure out how to upgrade whether Microsoft can associate those certs or not. Thanks for your advice!!Wednesday, October 24, 2012 12:52 PM

I'm a little confused by this statement.
Where are you viewing this information? What "cards" are you referring too? Originally you stated that you can't see the 70-291 exam, but now you state you can't see both 70-290 and 70-291. What does your transcript say? Does it show that you have the Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) on Windows Server 2003 certification?
There is no direct upgrade path from 2003 to 2012., You will either need to upgrade to one of the MCITP Windows Server 2008 certifications first and then upgrade to Windows Server 2012 OR take all the required Windows Server 2012 exams.
This link shows the valid upgrade paths to Windows Server 2012 http://www.microsoft.com/learning/en/us/certification/cert-windows-server-MCSA.aspx
