Why is the Code Font Proportional RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

I noticed that when I post sample code to a forum (using the "Insert Code Block" icon) the resulting code block is in a proportional font. Of course, this means that the columns may not line up correctly and the code may not be as readable as it would be with a monospace font.

I don't know of any developer who uses a proportional font to write code. This seems like a really dumb and obvious oversight.

    Thanks for listening.
