  • Question

  • I'm frustrated in finding out how to make suggestions or register complaints about OnceCare.  The only options are to "have questions answered" or receive "help" of some kind.  I resorted to the technical people to complain about the mandatory warning if the phishing filter is turned off.    They seemed to miss the point and patiently explained to me how to turn on the phishing filter, and were sympathetic with my plight of not being able to use the program properly.  I wonder if MS were a smaller company, they would be (by necessity)  more responsive to complaints and suggestions?

  • As FriendlyFFF noted, posting here is a good way to make suggestions and even to complain. The forums are viewed by members of the OneCare team and we moderators also provide feedback to the OneCare team based on what we see here.

The *official* feedback channel is at feedback.live.com - the form link for OneCare is: https://feedback.live.com/default.aspx?productkey=wlonecare

You may not get a response, but that is collected and reviewed by Microsoft.

  • Jim -

This forum is a good place to make at least informal suggestions / complaints.  It is read by MS staff, and as enough comments about a certain feature, or lack thereof, are noticed, they start to show up on radar.

Actually having a WLOC 'Suggestion Box' separate forum is a very good idea - allow suggestions to be seen as distinct from requests for help.

Another idea is to simply use 'Suggestion: xxxx' or 'SUGGESTION BOX: xxxx' as the title for a post - make it stand out; something like 'SUGGESTION BOX: Phishing Filter Change' for this post.

    Good luck.
