Secure FTP support for live writer RRS feed

    When will Live Writer support Secure FTP?

    I like the software, and really wanted to use it, but since it doesn't support secure FTP to my Wordpress blog, and because I don't want to chmod 777 my upload folder, its too impractical to use.

    I don't think we plan to support SFTP anytime soon.  You could turn on HTTPS for your server and using metaweblog to send your images to your blog.

    My webhost now only supports FTPS. So your saying now, that I cannot publish pictures anymore? My blog is using drupal.
