Advanced find trouble RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi
I have a CRM installation where advanced find takes distinct false where in other systems the same gives distinct true. I have no clue why but it's a big problem.

Here are the fetch for both of them:

    ---------------------------

    Windows Internet Explorer

    ---------------------------

    <fetch version="1.0" output-format="xml-platform" mapping="logical" distinct="true"><entity name="account"><attribute name="name"/><attribute name="address1_city"/><attribute name="primarycontactid"/><attribute name="telephone1"/><attribute name="new_saudloeb"/><attribute name="new_crmkunde"/><attribute name="customertypecode"/><attribute name="accountid"/><order attribute="name" descending="false"/><link-entity name="contact" from="parentcustomerid" to="accountid" alias="aa"><filter type="and"><condition attribute="createdon" operator="not-null"/></filter></link-entity></entity></fetch>

    ---------------------------

    OK

    ---------------------------

    Message from webpage

    ---------------------------

    <fetch version="1.0" output-format="xml-platform" mapping="logical" distinct="false"><entity name="account"><attribute name="name"/><attribute name="address1_city"/><attribute name="telephone1"/><attribute name="address1_postalcode"/><attribute name="accountnumber"/><attribute name="new_binumber"/><attribute name="accountid"/><order attribute="name" descending="false"/><link-entity name="contact" from="parentcustomerid" to="accountid" alias="aa"><filter type="and"><condition attribute="createdon" operator="not-null"/></filter></link-entity></entity></fetch>

    ---------------------------

    OK

    ---------------------------

  • Hi

The problem was that accountid was not set to searchable on the attribute, a tricky one :)

Be careful when setting this option on id fields.
