Configuration Manager MSVS C++ 2017 - Active Solution Platforms - Basic understanding RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am not quite expert in the point to understand configuration manager. The reason is that I have to create new platform. Let say that I want to change active solution platform. Let say that I put on 64 bit machine x32 or x86? What is going to happened then? Is the system going to work as 32 bits machine (16 bits machine)? If I put on New Platform something like TestPlatform what is going to happened then? Why this feature is used for?

  • Hi Pereubu123,

    Thank you for posting here.

For your question, could you provide more details? Do you mean you want to create your own platform? What language do you use? C#, C++?

    Best Regards,

    Wendy
