Sporadic "your pc is not running genuine windows" message

Question
-
I am a Brit, residing in the UK. 4 days ago, I started to occasionally receive the "not genuine windows" message, on my PC that I bought new, two years ago with Win 7Home Premium 64bit preinstalled. I have each time of receiving message, re-entered or "changed" the windows product code supplied with the PC and this results in "Windows activation successful" message. But later, the non genuine message reappears. Looking at other forum entries, I ran MGADiag tool and got the following output:

Try this...
Please disable real-time scanning/protection and reboot
If the notification has disappeared, re-enable real-time scanning and reboot again
If the notification is still present, first check whether the real-time scanning is still switched off.If so, then re-enable it and post the result.
If it's turned itself back on then tell me or try again using a different disable option.

See the notes in http://support.microsoft.com/kb/3004394
- it is not advised to uninstall the update if already installed as it may cause other issues.MS have since released a new patch designed to resolve the issues caused bythe failed patch..

Thanks noel for the advice. I followed MS instructions, using the new update to remove the suspect update but, this morning after logging on, i received the same message.
Then, while typing this reply, a "Windows validation in progress" window opened up, telling me not to move away from the page and, that it may take a few minutes . After sitting with the green revolving circle for 1 hour, I closed the window. So I still have the problem on my PC.
Any further suggestions would be welcome, thanks.

Thanks for your suggestion Noel, I will log it for use. But after about 4 days of re registering / re-activating windows with the supplied product key, my pc seems to have settled down and I have not seen the message again for the last two days and hopefully all is now ok.
During the time it was happening, I also experienced 1 lockup,2 sessions of extremely slow operations and one occasion of the screen for a few seconds telling me there was no signal. I checked all cabling, ran malware detection, virus scans and Advance System Care Ultimate clean up, all of which found nothing untoward.
Thanks again for the advice and effort and hope not to need your obvious vast knowledge again
Regards John

OH DEAR!!
Advanced System Care? -IMHO, it's one of the worst things you can do to your PC, apart from actually installing malware on it.
I have seen it break too many systems through bad programming and very poor understanding of proper control.
I really do suggest that you uninstall it after attempting to undo whatever it may have done to your system.
