asp.net buttons only firing onclick events every other click

  Hi,

  I have an asp.net website with web forms with master pages and the buttons I have on them only fire onclick events every other click. I have already searched the web and everything I try does not work. Does anyone know why they are not firing events every time the button is clicked? I am running Visual Studio 2013 express for the web.
