this is my Daughters laptop and it had the trial version of one care and I just ran out of my trial so I purchased the program from you and when I went to update her laptop it said that it was not working so I followed the instructions and what I found was that it's not there however when I do a search for it it does find it in the program files but you can't open it and whats worse it does not appear in the add/remove programs file so I cAN'T TAKE IT OUT. hELP pLEASE.

Use this to remove OneCare:

Cleanup tool - http://social.microsoft.com/forums/en-US/onecareinstallandactivate/thread/399071e2-49dc-4767-932d-d261e3965943/

Then install the trial from http://onecare.live.com and click subscribe after it is installed. Sign in with the LiveID for your existing subscription and it will activate.
