Schema version shown as Beta 3 Interim ??? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi everybody,

After testing the OCS in a lab environment, I started deploying the Office Communications Server 2007 in our production environment. After updating the AD Schema I noticed the following in the log:

Schema Prep State: Office Communications Server (Beta 3 Interim).

I downloaded the OCS 2007 distribution from our MSDN subscription and there were no signs that it is a beta version.

I also follwed the instruction in the "Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007 Active Directory Guide" and checked the rangeUpper attribute for the CN=ms-RTC-SIP-SchemaVersion and it is shown as 1007 as pointed in the guide.

I am a bit worried about that Beta 3 Interim in the log. Does anybody knows if this is Ok?

    Lubo.

  • Mike,

Thank you for your response. Now I feel better  and will continue deploying the OCS 2007.

btw: Do know why in the RTM version, the Schema is labeled as Beta 3 Interim? I'm just curious.

    Lubo.
