Failure. Appointments, contacts, and tasks can't be synchronized RRS feed

  • After setting up Exchange Server-Side Sync in 2013 some mailboxes test OK, others success on mail only, any ideas please?

  • An internal Microsoft Dynamics CRM error occurred while synchronizing appointments, contacts, and tasks for the mailbox xxx. The mailbox has been disabled for synchronizing appointments, contacts and tasks and the owner of the associated email server profile xxx has been notified.

  • Getting similar error. Some of them are running and some is getting the above error. Any help will be appreciated.

  • In my case the Exchange Server was 2007 and whereas SSS works for email on UR1 (funnies on other types of sync), updating to UR2 was a no-go as it introduced a version check on SSS and everything stopped working. So the Exchange Server needs to be updated first.

  • check the security roles. Make sure the security role that the users are assigned to have read/write access to the Mailbox Entity and make sure they have permissions to Sync
