Q: Fuzzy output - Low Res. RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hey y'all.

Fantastic software. Loved it to death. Maybe a year ago, I started not getting desirable results...

I'm getting low res output from higher res photos. The res slider is all the way at 100 and my input/output are both jpeg. I'll try to link to an example photo in a second...Hopefully I'm not missing anything.

Anyways, I'm not trying to do anything impressive (yet). Only stitching 5 photos. I think I've done my hw, covered all the bases, done my reading. all that. Here's an example...  i mgur.com/BRoYJ.jpg (remove space) hopefully that's public so y'all can see it. left is the stitch, right is the original. The stitch is the same res across the panorama.

    Thanks for the input!

  • That's surprising. A couple things :

    - there is no resolution "slider", instead there is a Scale drop-down menu. It's the Scale menu that you want at 100.

    - could you upload to Photosynth instead for comparison.  the upload to Photosynth is always at max scale so that might remove a few unknowns.
