I'm a complete newb at Dynamics CRM and have been asked to set up an "organisation" called "head office" then two business units which have "head office" as the parent BU. Thing is when this was set up initially one of the BU's has become the organisation and I can't create another org (or don't know how) and any subsequent BU's I create seem to be the child of the initial parent (which is unfortunately called one of the BU's, instead of the over riding Organisation Name).
Gosh I hope that makes sense to someone out there...lol. I appreciate the BU's and Org. can't be deleted, but even if I could name the initial BU (which is the parent) and call it what I want the Organisation name to be that would be extremely useful. I mean what if a company changed their name surely you could change the overall organisation name.
Rereading my initial post probably somewhat confusing. What I need to do is rename the initial "parent business" name. If I could do this then all subsquent BU's would be fine coming from this.
