E-mail Router stops working RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

I am also dealing with this problem on the email router. I could break down the problem to emails with the character + and % in the subject. When we have an email with one of these characters in the subject, the email router's eventlog shows:

#27938 - Beim Überprüfen des Postfachs XXXX auf zu verarbeitende E-Mail-Nachrichten ist ein Fehler aufgetreten. System.Net.WebException: The remote server returned an error: (404) Not Found. at System.Net.HttpWebRequest.GetResponse() at Microsoft.Crm.Tools.Email.Providers.HttpDavRequest.SubmitXmlCommand(HttpWebRequest httpWebRequest, String body) at Microsoft.Crm.Tools.Email.Providers.HttpDavRequest.RetrieveMessage(ServiceLogger serviceLogger) at Microsoft.Crm.Tools.Email.Providers.ExchangePollingMailboxProvider.RetrieveNextMessageInternal() at Microsoft.Crm.Tools.Email.Providers.CrmPollingMailboxProvider.RetrieveNextMessage() at Microsoft.Crm.Tools.Email.Providers.CrmPollingMailboxProvider.Run()

The error occures for each email with a + and a %. Additionally, the Microsoft.Crm.Tools.EmailAgent.SystemState.xml does not change the thresholddate and reports the LastError.

Currently I created a rule in the forward mailbox to move the suspicious emails into a subfolder. But this is only a workarround.

It looks like that this is not a problem of the CRM email router, but a problem of OWA and httpdav. Any ideas for a solution on this? We are running OWA 2007 on exchange 2007

    kind regards,
