Windows 7 -- Missing mdsdrv.sys file (cannot start "Firewall Authorization Driver" service) RRS feed

    I have a problem to start my Windows 7 firewall.

    Tracing it a little, the source seems to be a missing driver file mdsdrv.sys which is needed in order to start the service "Firewall Authorization Driver".

    Any idea on how to retrieve it?
