Dialling a Prefix number using OCS RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

We have integrated OCS with CS1000 and are able to make calls successfully.

It is required we need to dial a Prefix number followed by a access code then dial the phone number.

This access code must be updated in the CDR of the CS1000.

We are unable to do this. Any directions on the above will be highly appreciated.

    Regards

    Chands

Nortel Global Services does custom Office Communicator development to address issues like this and has done work to integrate time billing applications with client dial codes for law firms for example.  Ask your Nortel account exec to get you in touch with an ICA (Nortel/Microsoft Innovative Communications Alliance) consultant.

  • Hi Steven

Thank you for your direction. I would like to know whether the Office communicator customisation is done on the client side ( OC client) or on the OCS.

    Thank you for your time

    Regards

  • Customization can be done both on the client side with the OC client API or the server side with the OCS APIs. This download will give you a good idea of what is possible with which API.
