Issues with CRM/NAV integration in Azure RRS feed

  • Here’s what we’re trying to do:

    1. We have Microsoft Dynamic NAV installed on Azure (We are using click-once deployment)
    2. We have Microsoft Dynamic CRM online subscription
    3. We are trying to integrate Microsoft Dynamic CRM online with Microsoft Dynamic NAV on Azure via Connector for Microsoft Dynamics
    4. Originally we had self-signed certificates installed for NAV on Azure
    5. Dynamics Connector could not connect to Dynamics NAV web services due to errors such as :

    The underlying connection was closed: Could not establish trust relationship for the SSL/TLSsecure channel.”

    1. We made sure that Connector is Enabled in Dynamics NAV
    2. We purchased an SSL certificate from Certification Authority (goDaddy) and tried to replace the self-signed certificate for NAV
    3. When we replace certificate we cannot access NAV anymore (we are trying this in test environment)
    4. We cannot revert back the changes and get NAV accessible again

    We previously requested training from Microsoft on installing security certificates for NAV on Azure, but the process will take long and we need to get the issues resolved fast.
