Dashboards: Choose Chart Type Dynamics CRM 2011 RRS feed

    Hi Forum!

    I have created a new dashboard and there a new chart. But I don't have the possibilty to say which chart type I want. It creates me one out of the box, eg. activities gives me lines... With drilldown, I can choose...!?

    Any idea how to specifiy?

    Hi,

    You can change the Chart Type from Entity Charts Customization, i.e. if you want to change actvities chart type then go to Settings-> Customization->Cusotmizations->Customize the System->Entities-> Actvity-> Charts

    In Charts double click on any chart and change its type, save chart and publish entity customizations.

    Yes it works! But it's a pity not be able to change it directly in the dashboard like drilldown... :-(
