Unable to use or reintsall connector SW after PC restore

  Hi

  I would really appreciate any idea with the following

  Could you please help with the following problem with an XP professional PC (SP3) and Windows Home Server (SP2)

  1. Restored the PC from a backup from the Windows Home Server successfully
  2. Can open up the windows console, but the PC is greyed out on the console so I can not backup again.
  3. I can still access to the server as I can access the shared drives and remote desktop onto the server
  4. I have run the discovery programme. After entering the password I get the error message. "Operation can not be completed at the time"
  5. I then uninstalled the connector using the control panel add / remove programmes
  6. Then tried to reinstall from the connector S/W on the home server and got the same error message "Operation can not be completed at the time"
  7. Installed toolkit version 1.1
  8. I get the following problems when I run the connector trouble shooter – I understand the incorrect version of the connector software as the files are deleted each time the installation fails

  • Check Enroll 56000 - id.xml
  • Check EnrollId 56000 - id.xml
  • Partner manager simulator
  • Check client Version

  9) I have turned off all firewalls and run the connector trouble shooter and connector install with the same issues
