Windows Vista Validation issues RRS feed

  • Question

  • My computer was running ok until I had a few parts replaced, and now it's giving me an error message.  I need to validate windows, because it thinks it's not a genuine copy.  Can anyone recommend a fix?

    Thanks

  • You can reset your Windows Vista activation by performing the following:

    1. Click on the Start button and in the Start Search box type in:  slui.exe 4

    2. Press the Enter key on your keyboard.

    3. Select your Country.

    4. Follow the instructions for phone activation.

    5.  Once completed, restart your computer.

P.S.  Your installed copy of Microsoft Office XP Professional with FrontPage is non-genuine. You'll need to uninstall it, then visit a nearby store that sell computer software and purchase a genuine version of Microsoft Office.
