PC reporting Windows 7 Pro not genuine after months of use RRS feed

  • Question

  • A client of mine came back from a long weekend to her computer saying that her windows 7 license is not genuine. When attempting to reenter the license key it comes back as being blocked by Microsoft, even after running a chkdsk, system restore, SFC /Scannow, and tweaking.com windows repair tool to check that registry and system file permissions were set correctly. Is there anything else I can try to rule out Windows being corrupted before I end up buying a new license?
