WindowsOneCare Firewall

    General discussion

  • I would like to have the ability to immediately shutdown network access from/to programs but still leave the network connected.

I have been unable to find that ability with OneCare but Many other Security SW providers have a firewall "Lock" button.

  • It's been requested before, but the closest you have now is to change the firewall to restricted. Of course, that begs the question, why do you need network access if you want to shut down all access? The solution that most people have used is to simply disable the network adapter with a batch file.
