CRM 4.0 Outlook Client Locking up

We are using CRM 4.0 and outlook client. When convertig a Quote to an Order Outlook Locks up. A white form displays and Outlook is Frozen, we need to reboot the computer.
Is there some way to debug outlook to figure out what the problem is. We are on the latest rollup 17, which we notice this problem is worst.

you should use client diagnostic tool - the trace file should tell you more

I know not the "Client diagnostic tool" you speak of. Is this a CRM tool or Office tool? Thanks

it is in the same program group on the client computer where you can find the client configuration tool
