"you may be a victim of software counterfeiting" message for my Windows 7 purchased at Microsoft.com

Question
-
As others I get this message when I boot up. I bought my Windows 7 upgrade from Microsoft.com in April 2011 after my computer came back from being fixed by Toshiba. My computer originally came with Vista and a Windows 7 upgrade - I purchased a new upgrade from the Microsoft online store order #10986352 when I couldn't find my original upgrade disk...It's been fine up until now and looking at the other threads doesn't help me...Thanks.

Your problem is simply that you appear not to have activated your installation.I suspect that this has arisen because you used the new Key in an old installation - and this will not work properly with Upgrade KeysYou need to use Te;telephone activation, and explain the problem to the operator.telephone activation.
Click on the Start button
in the Search box, type
SLUI 4
and hit the Enter key
follow the instructions - but when asked which service you require by the telephone ansafone, do NOT reply - this should force an operator to respond, who can deal with you.
