Synctoy crashes when ran from command promt RRS feed

    I have tried it on two different computer both are running windows 8.1. I have tried Synctoy 2.1 in both 64 bit and 32 bit and in different compatibility modes. It works fine in GUI form. I would love to get the scheduled task to run an auto backup. Please Help!!!

    What did you type in for the command prompt?

    Did you try to use SyncToy.exe   or the dedicated command line .exe   -  SyncToyCmd.exe ?

    Here is an excellent primer on setting up SyncToy in a scheduled task.   It runs on my computer every day.
