Dates in incorrect US format when most of the world does not use this format ! RRS feed

  • Question

  • Seems to be a great little tool SyncToy BUT I do have one complaint/suggestion:- There are just too many American companies that fail to realise that the USA is one of the ONLY countries in the world that uses the mm/dd/yy format !  The vast, vast majority of countries that use numbers use the more logical dd/mm/yy (logical as it goes smaller (day), bigger (month), biggest (year) unit). Please could you therefore acknowledge this fact and make the date format displayed either automatically adjusted depending on the default country of the user's operating system or in longer format so there is no doubt e.g. "02 March 2014". Currently the Last date synced is showing as 3/2/14 which is completely wrong and confusing for me. For me that is the 3rd of February !  Thank you.
