I think the problem is I am trying to look at the connections via the same PC I am trying to remote into. I had my son in law check connectivity Friday from his PC and it works fine and he was able to connect to one of the PCs. He even used the https connection which is pretty cool you have to admit.
I am using XP PRo on 2 PCs and Vista Home Premium on the third. I did notice that the VIST PC says it is not supported, I thought I read it was.- Proposed as answer by kariya21Moderator Sunday, November 15, 2009 4:46 PM

Have you tried rebooting the server and all of the clients? What OS do you have installed on the clients you are trying to RD into?

No, it's not supported on Vista Home Premium (only Vista Business or higher).Sunday, November 15, 2009 4:46 PMModerator -

To fix this problem:
Open your Remote Settings window on your PC:
Under Remote Desktop change the setting to "Allow connections from computers running any version of Remote Desktop (less secure)" from the highlighted "Allow connections only from computers running Remote Desktop with Network Level Authenication (more secure)".
Click Apply
Click the Advanced tab.
Uncheck the box that says "Create invitations that can only be used from computers running Windows Vista or later".
Make sure you clciked "Apply" button on both
You may need to reboot WHS and client PC to get the connection back. I didn't, but some people say they needed to. It took me several hours of playing with settings before I stumbled upon the reason we got the "connection disabled" message listed next to client PC's from the WHS web home screen.
