  • If you are unable to restore the files, try configuring backup on the new OneCare install and point to the same server where the backups are currently located. Perform a backup, then run the restore processes, selecting to restore from another computer, browsing that location for the backups.

    Failing then, please contact support.

  • MY COMPUTER CRASHED AND HAD TO RELOAD WINDOWS XP. ORIGINALLY, WINDOWS XP AND WINDOWS ONE CARE WERE IN DRIVE C.  THE RELOADED WINDOWS XP WENT TO DRIVE D, AND WINDOWS ONE CARE REMAINED IN DRIVE C.  I CAN NOT GET THE WINDOWS ONE CARE COMPRESSED FILE TO OPEN AND REINSTALL (PASSWORD PROTECTED). IF I LOAD THE WINDOWS ONE CARE DISK A BOX POPS UP SAYING: "THE PROCEDURE ENTRY POINT GET PROCESSLD COULD NOT BE LOCATED IN THE DYNAMIC LINK LIBRARY KERNELL 32.dll."  HOW DO I RELOAD THE WINDOWS ONE CARE?

NOTE: MY COMPUTER HAS TWO PHYSICALLY SEPARATE HARD DRIVES (NOT PARTITIONS).

    APPRECIATE ANY HELP!

  • It looks like when you reinstalled Windows you installed it to the wrong drive and now you have two instances of Windows on your computer. There are several ways you can repair this but I recommend formatting both drives then installing Windows on the C:\ drive.
