How do I edit an old website?

  I created a website for my business at least a year ago, maybe longer. I never promoted it or gave out the URL, but I want to now. My business has expanded and I need to edit the site to reflect that. But I cannot for the life of me figure out how to edit it. I can get on the Small Business website but I never get an option to edit that site, just create a new one. If I can't edit that one, how can I delete it and start over? thanks for any guidance.
