Using Oanda's API with HTTPClient, I Believe RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi everyone,

I've been puzzled by this for like a day. All I'm trying to do, is  do a request from Oanda's FIX API v20. I saw examples, but none using the headers that Oanda gave me. I'm going to give you the header information and I should get back a JSON format.

So for the request, I got this from Oanda

    curl \ -H "Content-Type: application/json" \ -H "Authorization: Bearer 9b8ce56691a63dce8b885953ce306375-caf363272e2337a8acdc29d7a28c2730" \ ""

For response header, I got this:

    HTTP/1.1 200 OK Access-Control-Allow-Headers: Authorization, Content-Type, Accept-Datetime-Format Content-Encoding: gzip Transfer-Encoding: chunked Server: openresty/ Connection: keep-alive Date: Wed, 22 Jun 2016 18:41:38 GMT Access-Control-Allow-Origin: * Access-Control-Allow-Methods: PUT, PATCH, POST, GET, OPTIONS, DELETE Content-Type: application/json

And I should get a JSON response back. I believe I need to use the HTTPClient class,

    but not 100% sure.

    Thanks in advance.

  • Hi chrizpro,

Since Oanda's FIX API v20 is a 3rd-party platform I would suggest that you could contact 3rd-party web site to ask for related document.

    Best regards,
