Encountered a problem and might not be protcting pc RRS feed

  • onecare sent me here What do I do?message says may not be protecting  pc for it encountered a problem got to help for a solution

  • *Check if your computer's date, time and time zone are set correctly

    if not, please correct it and restart Onecare:

    1. Open command prompt box (Start>Run>type CMD>then click OK

    2. Type NET STOP WINSS then hit enter

    3. Type NET START WINSS then hit enter

    4. Close command prompt and open Onecare

    (if this steps didn't work, try to download and run the tool below)

     

    1. Copy and paste this link: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=4bc2594b-95ab-4235-b5b8-41656b38480f&DisplayLang=en

    2. Click the DOWNLOAD button and then click RUN

    3. Follow the onscreen instruction to run the tool

    4. Restart computer and check if the problem is resolved.
