Hyper-V Server: Guest OS NIC down RRS feed

  • Question

  • Dear all in forum,

I have problem with Hyper-V server on Server 2008 R2 Ent which hosts many guest OS.

I have HP ML 370 G7 with 30 Gb RAM

I have three OS (with three virtual NIC) but I found one of them has the problem with NIC.

    Services within this guest:

    - Domain Controller : File Sharing, File Screening, Shadow Copy (RAM: 4GB).

We have no symptom or event logged on Hyper-V Server Mgr or Withing guest OS itselft of this prblem.

Clients cannot access to that guest OS while it is operating well (I go to Hyper-V server mgr and start to connect to that guest OS session).

Logical IP configuration on guest OS is ok.

This case is solved by just restarting it.

I want to know why this case happen? What is the reall root cause of this matter? It's because of Hyper-V Server problem or hardware problem?

I am looking to hearing from you.

    Regards and thanks.
