Error while going offline in CRM2011 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

When trying to go offline all the users get the error 'Invalid Argument' at the 'Propagating Customizations' step.

We are really trying to resolve this issue as no one is able to work offline.

    Help would be much appreciated..

  • Alex,

Do you have the same update rollups for the Outlook client and for the Dynamics CRM Server? Make sure you have the same update rollup for both.

Also check the KB article I mentioned previously (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/911379/en-us) and see if it works for you.

  • Alex,

First thing that comes to mind is the security roles. Have you changed the security roles?

Does this happens also for users that are administrators?

Also, is this an on-premise or on-demand (aka: online) deployment of Dynamics CRM?

  • Hi,

Yes, we have tried with users with the System Administrator role and the same error occurs..

    (CRM server is on-premise)

    Thanks for the reply
