Cannot log on to a windows 2000 computer RRS feed

  • Question

  • I teach at a private school and we were donated a Windows 2000 Computer. However, we were not given any user names or passwords for the computer and I can't access Windows. Is there a generic log in name and password so that I can set this computer up for my classroom?

  • Have tried logging in using "Administrator" as user name with no password, no luck. Have tried using the word "Default' which shows up in the User Name box when I start the computer. Without a password,  no joy, using 'default' as password, no joy. Any other suggestions?
