Sort Order Of The Side Bar In Windows Explorer RRS feed

  • Question

  • High,
I work on a Windows 10 Home (64bit) laptop and want to change the order of the Explorer side bar in my own manner.
Depending on my searching results I got a first helpfull solution.

Ramesh explained that for Libraries under the following Key HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{031E4825-7B94-4dc3-B131-E946B44C8DD5} the dword SortOrderIndex is responsible.

My question is, what is in general the logic of managing the sort order of the other items?
    Is there any?

    • May be there are other keys for each other item?
    • May be there exists a (hex) table of possible combinations?

I am very curious about an answer. :-)
