Shortcuts in CRM RRS feed

    Is it possible to create shortcuts to areas of CRM in areas like the blue header bar? If so I'm sure its something that requires programming but just curious if anyone knows if it can be done. the exact scenario is that we would like our global search box to always be available instead of having to take several steps to get to it when we need it.
