  • Sorry but no, your computer is using a blacklisted SLP key originaly issued to Lenovo, the key went rogue on the internet and was therefore blocked, also, your bios should not support OEM slp activation, your computer is using a loader or other exploit to emulate OEM slp activation.

You should probably perform a clean install, either to the original Vista install that came with the DV6000 computers or purchase a legitimate copy of windows 7.

For further advice on how to repair this problem please ask, just let us know which way you would like to go and we can try to advise the best way to either restore the Vista install or obtain Windows 7 legitimately. THe least expensive way would be to obtain a WGA kit.

    Thanks

    Carl

  • Carl_OH is correct.

This Lenovo Product key was leaked to the internet before Windows 7 was relaesed.  Because this happened well before Windows was release, lenovo was able to remove this key from all it's computer before any were sold. In other words, no Genuine copy of Windows was ever sold with this key.

    Thank you,
